Developmental Play Sessions - 90 mins

School readiness program - 90 mins

In each session, your child is encouraged to play using carefully chosen toys, games and activities that help them communicate and process what they might not yet have words for. Sessions are child-led but gently supported by me to meet each child's unique needs and goals (including NDIS goals). 

Through play, your child builds the skills and confidence to thrive at home, in school, and in their relationships - all while having fun and learning through play. 

Each session will ensure your child:

- Explores and expresses their emotions in a safe and healthy way 
- Develops social and communication skills 
- Builds self-confidence and problem solving abilities
- Learns to manage big feelings like anxiety, frustration or fear 

Starting school is an exciting milestone - and feeling prepared makes all the difference. As an experienced Early Childhood Teacher, my school readiness program is designed to help your child build the confidence, skills, and independence they need to thrive in the classroom and beyond.

Each program is personalised to your child's unique learning needs, interests, and developmental stage. I take this time to get to know your child and tailor activities that support early literacy, numeracy, listening and attention skills, following instructions, and positive social interactions with peers. 

To make learning engaging and meaningful, I create and provide individualised resources and hands-on activities that can also be used at home to reinforce your child's growth and confidence. 

 

Parent Relief & Developmental Play - 3-4 hrs

Because you deserve a break! 

These sessions are designed to give parents the time they need to run errands, rest and recharge - all while your child enjoys fun, engaging developmental play tailored to their unique goals. 

Each session includes: 

- 1:1 play-based developmental activities 
- Focus on social skills, communication, and independence
- Flexible session length (3-4 hours) at a special lower hourly rate 
- In your home 

All developmental play and school readiness sessions run for 90 minutes in the comfort of your home, supporting your child's growth through play and learning.

Blossoming Developmental Play and Learning provides 1:1 developmental play sessions, school readiness programs and parental relief sessions for children with Autism and other developmental needs. My mission is to help every child grow in confidence, skills and happiness.

Why developmental play? 

Play is a child's natural language - it's how they explore, express themselves and make sense of the world around them. Developmental play focuses on meeting each child at their current stage, nurturing their strengths, and supporting their individual needs in a warm, engaging environment (their own home!). By providing opportunities for hands-on exploration and meaningful interactions that are 1:1, I help children develop the foundations they need for everyday life and future learning.
